WeissX will be assisting teams with identification of problems that may come up while creating prototypes of their project ideas and ideating on potential solutions. The instructors will host activities that help participants better define their product’s fulfilled need, and eventually work towards the development of a business model to make the product a success.
Weiss X is the University of Pennsylvania’s student-run hardware accelerator. It connects students with great product ideas with the resources and mentorship required to make functional prototypes. WeissX is advised by mentors with extensive professional and academic experience, and introduces students to fundamental concepts of interdisciplinary engineering design and fabrication through group sessions each week.
